Jamell Richardson "The Gulf Coast Blues Boy"

Jamell Richardson is described as a Trail Blazer in the blues and soul music genres. He starred as Jimmy Nolen (guitarist) in the hit movie “Get On Up” featuring the late great Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) and other well know stars. In 2017 shortly after releasing his first full length album “Blues How I Wanna Blues” he was honored on the 198th Mississippi Blues Trail Marker in Meridian, Mississippi. In 2021 Jamell received the “King Of The Blues Award” (A Tribute To B.B King) from the Jus Blues Music Foundation. Performing on stage today, Jamell is known for his innovative style of guitar playing, his strong soulful voice and his incredible stage presence.
